These news items can be created in an unpublished state and then published with the click of a button once it has been proof read or at the time of the announcement.

The new EDsuite 2.0 News Tool has RSS Feed technology which allows visitors to "subscribe" to the actual news section of the website. This technology allows anyone that subscribes to the RSS Feed to be notified as soon as any new news items are posted. In addition, the layout of the tool has more of a blog style environment which is becoming more familiar and comfortable to visitors of your website.

If requested, we can allow screened comments to be posted to the news section or to the individual news items. This allows for more collaboration and interactivity with the local community, and the intent is to also improve the quality of information that is found in the news section. If residents are happy with your work and they are vocal about it then that will only help in marketing your community if those comments are displayed on your site.

Only approved comments will appear on the website, no comments are automatically published without staff review & approval.
